History, Location and Reputation
Chiswick & Bedford Park Preparatory School was established in 1915 as the local co-educational Independent school. It has maintained and enhanced its excellent reputation, providing a broad-based and exciting education for pupils aged three to eleven years.
It is situated in a large, Grade II listed, Victorian house in Bedford Park and is within a few minutes’ walk of Turnham Green Underground Station.
The School, which has approximately 215 pupils, prepares boys for entry to preparatory departments of senior schools at seven and girls for entry to the Independent London Day schools and boarding schools at eleven.
The School is well known for its high rate of success in entrance examinations and for gaining academic and music scholarships. It has maintained its long established reputation for high academic achievement, whilst encompassing the latest developments in education and best teaching practice.
