The Chiswick & Bedford Park Preparatory School Artist of the Month for June 2023 is Andy Goldsworthy.
Born in Cheshire in 1956, Goldsworthy studied at Bradford College of Art before starting his career in art. The environmentalist and artist is famous for his work focused on, and using materials from, nature such as stones, flowers, mud and pines cones.
His work can be seen across the world including the Botanical Gardens in Edinburgh, Cairnhead in Scotland and San Francisco, USA.
We look forward to seeing the wonderful works of art the children create in art this month inspired by Andy Goldsworthy’s work.
