This term Form 3 have been learning about how potatoes (and vegetables) are grown in science. The class were all very excited to see that they had grown so well and were eager to taste them. The potatoes were cleaned, cooked and eaten – from field to fork (or from balcony to spoon!) in 1.5 hours. The children loved the taste of the fresh potatoes, with butter and seasoning. This year was a bumper crop, probably thanks to the cool, damp summer we’ve had. So plenty more spuds going home!
