On Friday 10th May, 12 pupils competed in the first Local Schools Community Tennis Shield at Hartswood Tennis Club. Organised by Love Tennis, it proved to be a fantastic day with matches played against pupils from Orchard House, St Peters and St Stephens.

The tournament was designed to be fun whilst building experience in doubles match play. Everyone had a fantastic time, with games being very competitive but played with great sportsmanship throughout.

Well done to everyone who competed really well and displayed excellent teamwork, as well as all those who won their matches or an award. We are very proud to say that two pupils from Forms 5 and 6 won the Fair Play Award within their age group for their great attitude and for playing in the spirit of the game.

A big thank you to Christian and the team at Love Tennis for organising and hosting the competition, which we hope will become an annual event.
